뭔가 재미있는 일이 없을까 생각하던 엘리스왕은 아빠에게 '엘리스왕과 용감한 기사'에 관한 책을 만들어보자고 합니다. 책의 첫번째 챕터는 엄마의 아이디어로 엘리스왕과 용감한 기사가 함께 식사를 하는 걸로 시작합니다. 두번째 챕터는 엘리스왕과 기사가 티파티를 하는 내용으로 만들었어요. 그후 잠잘 대까지 해적이야기, 요정이야기, 슬립오버 이야기 등을 추가해서 책을 완성합니다. 아빠는 이런 엘리스를 위해 글을 쓰고 그림을 그리면서 엘리스가 창작을 하는 것을 하루 종일 도와줍니다.

잠자리에 든 엘리스는 이제 눈오는 날도 좋아하게 되었어요. 그리고 하루 종일 엘리스를 뒷바라지하기 위해 지친 아빠에게 내일은 후속편 책을 만들자고 하네요...
