He takes advantage of his invisibility, helping to steady a new bike rider and avoid the jeers of older children, and helping a shy man propose to his sweetheart by saying "marry me" for him. Stanley also gives his younger brother the spotlight by appearing (or rather not appearing) on a talk show to assist him with magic tricks. And finally, he helps foil a bank robbery attempt. Bjorkman's simple, cartoonlike sketches add to the humorous episodes that are sure to tickle the funny bones of early chapter-book readers.
