판지를 천이나 가죽으로 감싸기도 합니다. 책의 속지는 일반적으로 중성처리된 종이(Acid-free paper)를 사용해서 잘 변질이 되지 않기 때문에 오랫동안 보관하기에 적합합니다. 이 종류의 책은 더스트 재킷, 또는 더스트 커버로 불리는 표지덮개가 함께 있는 경우가 많습니다. 간혹 내부 속지가 콩기름 코팅이 된 경우 고약한 냄새가 나는 책도 있습니다.

While there are many other titles that share the focus, age level, and general coverage of this volume, it's hard to beat the attractiveness of the layout and the beauty of the illustrations found here. With one exception, each of the 28 sections consists of a 2-page spread heavy on illustration and short on text. Coverage includes history, religion, people and customs, occupations and recreation, warfare, etc. More and better organized report information on ancient Greece can be found in most general encyclopedias, but none will include the numerous illustrations that are a feast for the eye and give a visual understanding of the art, architecture, and artifacts of this period. Given the usual curricular focus and student interest on ancient Greece, this book is a worthwhile purchase, even for collections that already include other titles on the topic. |

Jason(a prince fromThessaly)도 나오네요, the Argonauts들과 함께 황금양털(The Golden Fleece)을 찾아서 모험 떠나는 영웅담이였죠.
올림픽 설명하는 데엔, 88올림픽 사진도 실려있네요.

 개인적으로 너무 마음에 듭니다. |
그리스 로마 신화에 꽃힌 울 딸이 너무 좋아하네요. 신화스러운 그림만 보다가 직접 그리스의 세계사적으로
유명한 유물의 실제 사진을 보고, 아이가 궁금해했던 것들을 찾을 수 있어서 너무 만족스럽습니다.

이 생길 것 같네요. 다른 시리즈도 많이 나왔으면 좋겠습니다.
