Book Description
In I Can Lace a rainy day doesn't have to be a boring day! Youngsters can lace their way through the pages of this book and see how much fun they can have with a new pair of laces.
Kids love to try to dress themselves, and I Can Do It! interactive board books give them plenty of practice. Each book comes with an actual button, lace, snap, or zipper that appears not only on the cover but throughout the book. The story unfolds as kids successfully compete each activity.

Zipping a zipper, lacing and tying shoes are real challenges for most toddlers. The "I Can Do It!" series of board books attempts to help kids learn how to snap, lace, button and zip. The zipper moves easily and will probably stand up to wear and tear as will the snap book. The button book is difficult to manipulate and the lacing book is extremely difficult. Of the series, I Can Zip is the best choice but, taken as a whole, the series is not very instructive or interesting. It is a nice concept, but not the best execution. - Marilyn Courtot |
