크리스마스 이브. 해럴드는 산타크로스가 오기 전에 크리스마스 트리를 장식해야 합니다. 크리스마스 트리를 구하기 위해 밖으로 나온 헤럴드는 요술 크레용으로 하늘 에는 북두칠성을 그리고 땅에는 눈이 많이 내리는 모습을 그려서 자신이 있는 곳을 북극으로 바꿨습니다. 해럴드는 지붕에서 나오는 산타크로스의 모습을 그린 다음 순록 썰매와 선물 꾸러미를 그려 산타크로스가 아이들에게 선물을 주러 떠날 수 있도록 도와줍니다. 그리고 집으로 돌아오기 위해 처음에 그렸던 달 밑에 크리스마스 트리를 그리고, 벽난로와 소파를 그렸습니다. 그리고 벽난로 옆에는 산타크로스가 선물을 넣어줄 커다란 양말을 그리는 것도 잊지 않았지요...
