Part of the "First Discovery Look-It-Up" series, this sturdy, tabbed board book examines wild animals. Zebras can stand on their own from the time they are born; baby crocodiles seem to be pretty much on their own while mother bear spends plenty of time teaching and raising her cubs. Eagle parents both work hard to keep their eaglets fed and lion mothers carry their babies by the scruff of their necks. Each section shows parents and babies and provides the proper name for the animal baby, such as gosling for a baby goose. The books in this series have a look and feel of the DK style--bright white pages, crisp images and a lucid text with facts, but not so much that it overwhelms the new readers. The tabs serve as an index to let kids pick a section and read the selections in any order they choose. A nice way to provide interaction and some degree of control over the learning experience. |

역시 첫발견 그 명성 그대로군요.
그냥 자연관찰책이 아닌 따뜻함이 배어나는 책입니다.
야생둥물들의 서식지도 조금 나오구요. 엄마동물과 아가동물이 함께 나와서 그런지 넘 이쁩니다. 또한 동물의 아가동물..

야생둥물들의 서식지도 조금 나오구요. 엄마동물과 아가동물이 함께 나와서 그런지 넘 이쁩니다. 또한 동물의 아가동물을 뭐라고 부르는지도 알 수 있구요.
알을 까고 나오는 동물과 그렇지 않은 동물을 구별할 수도 있습니다.
엄마곰이 아가곰 나무 올라가는 모습을 바라보는 모습과 독수리가 먹이를 날라다 주는 장면은 너무 너무 모성애가 느껴집니다.
동물도 사람과 같은 존재라는 생각이 들게 합니다.

5,6살이 봐도 좋아요.
저는 이 책을 구입한 지가 한참 되었어요.

우리 사람들이 아이들에게 하는 모습과 같지 않나 싶네요.

유아용 첫발견이라, 유치원 이전 아이들에게나 적합할 줄 알았는데 막상 책을 받아보니, 영어를 늦게 시작하는 아이들의 경우, 초등학교 저학년때 보아도 손색이 없을 것 같습니다. 옆의 탭을 이용해서 해당 탭 내..
유아용 첫발견이라, 유치원 이전 아이들에게나 적합할 줄 알았는데 막상 책을 받아보니, 영어를 늦게 시작하는 아이들의 경우, 초등학교 저학년때 보아도 손색이 없을 것 같습니다. 옆의 탭을 이용해서 해당 탭 내용에 해당하는 내용 말해보기나 놀이에 이용할 수도 있구요. 집에 baby animals 에 대한 책들이 책꽂이 한줄을 모두 채울 정도로 있는데 같은 주제라하여도 다른 문장이나 그림을 보여주니 저렴한 가격에 구입하면 좋을 것 같네요.
