This third book in the series moves at the same breakneck pace set in Knights of the Kitchen Table and The Not-So-Jolly Roger (both Viking, 1991). The title of the new book brings back memories of the classic ``Spaghetti Western,'' The Good, the Bad , and the Ugly . There are similarities beyond the titles. Scieszka's book also includes an ample dose of humor, a lively pace, and on-target dialogue. A spell, accidentally cast, transports Joe, Fred, and Sam back to the Chisholm Trail of 1868. > They narrowly escape two stampedes, a flash flood, being scalped by Cheyenne braves, and a charge of the Seventh Cavalry lead by Lieutenant (soon to be General) Custer. Sam's knowledge, `` `magic . . . picked up in a book,' '' and a Time Freezer spell save the day and return the trio to the present. Smith's typically zany pencil and charcoal drawings heighten the drama and enhance the wacky mood of the story. It seems that while Joe's magic book remains in the possession of the Time Warp Trio, wild adventures are bound to reoccur and please readers. Great fun! |

 시간여행 삼총사 챕터북 |
초등 3-4학년 정도면 요즘엔 챕터북으로 돌입하던데
지금 컬러그림이 있는 쉬운 챕터북 진행중이라 다음책으로 활용하면 좋을 것 같아 구매했네요.
도서관에 '시간여행 삼총사'라고 한글판으로도 나와있던데 전권..
초등 3-4학년 정도면 요즘엔 챕터북으로 돌입하던데

남자애 3명이 시간여행을 통해 미래,현재,과거를 방문해
흥미진진한 경험과 모험을 하게된다는 이야기인데 한글판 먼저 접해준 후 활용하면 좋을 것 같아요.
전권 시리즈가 총16권인걸로 아는데 벼룩에 올라올때마다 구매했더니 아직 못구한 책들이 몇 권 있네요.
나머지 책들도 마져 올라왔으면 좋겠어요.

존 셰즈카 아저씨 책들은 유머가 있어서 어른인 제가 봐도 재밌어요.
아이들이 시간 여행을 떠나는건 magic tree house랑 소재가 비슷하지만
특유의 유머러스함이 좋아요.^^
