All are happily reunited after a frantic call from a nearby telephone booth, and Little Mouse knows from their hugs and kisses that they missed him, too. The story and cartoon pictures complement each other beautifully, with familiar childhood feelings of occasional rejection, excitement of adventure into the unknown and the final reassurance of family love.
