원래 fabric designer였던 Lindsey Gardiner는 이 책의 배경 색상도 마치 옷감천의 무늬를 디자인하듯 독특하게 구성했어요. 밝은 색상과 쉬운 문장, 그리고 무엇보다도 동물 흉내내기는 모든 아이들이 좋아하는 놀이이기 때문에 어린 독자들이 즐겁게 읽고 따라할 수 있는 책입니다.
