베스트셀러인 "I Like Me!"의 작가인 낸시 칼슨가 만든 유치원 신입생을 위한 입문서.
유치원에서 첫 학기가 시작되자, 선생님은 매일마다 커다란 유리병에 젤리사탕을 하나씩 넣은 후 100일째가 되는 날에 유리병에 모은 젤리를 나눠 먹는 파티를 열겠다고 하네요. 아울러 100일째가 되는 날에 각자 100과 관련된 것들을 발표할 시간을 갖겠다고 합니다.

겨울방학이 끝난 후 1월에 헨리는 도서관에서 좋아하는 책을 발견하고,
마침내 개학 후 100째가 되는 2월에는 100일 기념 파티를 엽니다.
개학 후 100일째가 되는 날 아이들은 어떤 것들이 100과 관련해서 의미가 있는지를 발표합니다. 유치원에서 배운 100개의 단어들, 100개의 클립으로 만든 체인, 100개의 아이스크림 막대로 만든 모형집, 98개의 마쉬멜로우를 붙여서 만든 보드판(2개는 자기 먹었다네요)... 헨리는 다른 아이들과는 달리 100세가 된 할머니를 친구들에게 소개합니다. 학생들은 100세 할머니에게 많은 질문들을 하면서 새로운 것들을 배웁니다.
발표시간이 끝난 후, 약속대로 젤리를 나눠먹는 파티가 열립니다. 20명의 아이들은 5개씩의 젤리를 나눠 먹었으며, 선생님은 아이들을 위해 100개의 초가 꽂힌 커다란 케익을 준비했습니다...

On his first day of kindergarten, Henry learns that his teacher will add a jelly bean to a special jar every day until they reach 100 days of school. As each month passes, the little mouse and his classmates engage in seasonal activities, celebrate holidays, give a concert, and visit the school library. Finally, February arrives and Henry brings his 100-year-old great-grandma to school for show-and-tell. Done in colored markers and pen and ink, Carlson's characteristic paintings are filled with bright colors and homey details, making Henry's classroom a comfortable place for young readers to visit. Pair this with Anne Rockwell's 100 School Days (HarperCollins, 2002) or Rosemary Wells's more detailed Emily's First 100 Days of School (Hyperion, 2000) for a centenary celebration.
