Book Description
Rainbow Fish can't believe he's lost his special sea glass. When Little Blue shows off a new piece of sea glass that he's found, Rainbow Fish thinks it's really the sea glass that he lost. But Little Blue doesn't agree, and now the two friends are fighting.
Children's Literature
As with the other stories featuring Rainbow Fish, there is always a moral or lesson related to the story. Rainbow Fish has lost his favorite piece of sea glass. A few days later Little Blue turns up with his own piece of sea glass and claims that he found it. In fact, Rainbow Fish had dropped his favorite item while they were playing. Little Blue refuses to return it even after his peer group pretty much concludes that the glass is indeed the one that belonged to Rainbow Fish. Ever magnanimous, Rainbow Fish offers to help Little Blue find his own piece of sea glass and lets him be the custodian of his favorite piece until that happens.
