Children's Literature
These simple, original rhymes are perfect for toddlers. They can play peek-a-boo with colors, identify body parts, learn animal sounds, count with blocks, have a letter parade and much more. The bright watercolor paintings will hold the attention of the youngest readers, but they will probably have the most fun doing the actions in the book. Boys and girls from a variety of ethnic groups are represented, and both genders are pictured doing a variety of activities. This is a comprehensive collection of 24 rhymes so adults can read one or two sections at a time to the younger children. The only drawback is the book is rather large and heavy and the pages not sturdy enough for one and two year olds to "read" on their own. Even so, this is a great resource for parents and for teachers to use in a toddler classroom.

This collection includes verses about colors, riddles about the playground, poems about manners, and bits on other topics of concern to toddlers. Sweet's vibrant illustrations with bright backgrounds pick up where the rhymes leave off, giving the audience a nice view of the diverse world of children. A whimsical spread called "Traffic Jam" shows youngsters driving little cars as the verse begins "My car broke down/So here I am./I just started/A traffic jam!" "First Things" documents memorable firsts such as a haircut, an injury, and a friend. This winning collection can be used in storytimes or just for pleasurable times between parents and children. |

전 토들러 영어 입문용으로도 괜찮은거 같아요..
아이가 그림만으로도 꽤 흥미를 가지구요.
라임이 잘 살아있는 이 동시들을 잘 살려서 읽어주면

우리 아인 자꾸만 읽어달라고 조르더라구요..
거기다가 토들러 시기에 필요한 여러 영어인지를 시켜주는 책이에요..
다음에 나오면 해당시기의 엄마들은 구입하셔도 후회안하실거라 생각되어져요..

 3세 남아도 좋아하네요 |
전에 웰컴베이비를 샀었는데..너무 맘에들어서 이책도 뜨자마자 담았네요
자동차관련 내용이 생각보다 많아서 3세 남아도 잘 보네요
좋아하는 그림이 나오는 페이지만 노래를 틀어주면서 함께 읽어주고 있어요

그림 색상도 선명하고 큼직큼직해서 맘에 듭니다
아무래도 가사집이다 보니 노래가 있어야 활용하기 좋으실거에요
노래만 있다면..두고두고 활용하실수있을것 같네요..
문장도 실생활에 사용할 수 있는 내용들이라 노래로 영어를 익힐수 있어서 좋아요..
