각 페이지마다의 조각들을 조립하여 로봇을 만들 수 있고 조립하는데 필요한 영어를 배울 수 있습니다
My Little Red Toolbox를 사용해 보신 분들은 아시겠지만 내장된 로봇들의 조각들과 종이의 질이 하드보드지보다 훨씬 두껍고 옆면처리도 깔끔하여 손을 베거나 로봇이 잘 버틸까 하는 걱정을 안하셔도 됩니다.
내용을 살펴보면, 우선 머리를 조립할 때 (left, right, top) of his head라는 표현으로 위치의 개념을 알 수 있고, shoulder, legs, feet, back, arm, elbow, heart의 신체 부위도 나와 로봇을 통해 자연스럽게 익힐수 있습니다.
각 신체 부위마다에는 서로 다른 모양들이 붙어 있는데, 5 silver squares, 4 black octagons, 3 gold ovals, 3 purple diamonds, 2 white hexagons, 1 yellow triangle 로 숫자(numbers), 색깔(colors), 모양(shapes)도 같이 인지할 수 있으며 이들 각각의 모양들을 내장된 드라이버로 돌려야하는 아이만의 역할이 있습니다. 손근육 발달과 집중력 향상에 도움이 되겠지요.
마지막으로 해야할 일로는 빨간 심장(red heart)을 가슴에 넣고 내장된 열쇠로 yellow triangle로 열어주면 됩니다.
