판지를 천이나 가죽으로 감싸기도 합니다. 책의 속지는 일반적으로 중성처리된 종이(Acid-free paper)를 사용해서 잘 변질이 되지 않기 때문에 오랫동안 보관하기에 적합합니다. 이 종류의 책은 더스트 재킷, 또는 더스트 커버로 불리는 표지덮개가 함께 있는 경우가 많습니다. 간혹 내부 속지가 콩기름 코팅이 된 경우 고약한 냄새가 나는 책도 있습니다.

이 책에서는 색(빨강, 노랑, 녹색, 분홍, 파랑, 오렌지, 하얀색, 검정색)에 관련된 물건의 그림과 단어를 탭을 당겨 볼 수 있는 책입니다. 예를 들어 빨강(RED) 페이지를 열면 처음에는 온통 붉은색 밖에 보이지 않죠. 그렇지만 왼쪽 페이지 하단에 있는 탭을 당기면 "Red"라는 단어가 나타나고 오른쪽 페이지 하단에 있는 탭을 당기고 플랩을 열어보면 색깔이 빨간색인 물건들의 단어와 그림[Strawberries(딸기), Poppy(양귀비), Watermelon(수박), Tomato(토마토), Cherries(체리), Ladybug(무당벌레), Brick(벽돌), Lobster(바닷가재), Red Ants(붉은 개미)]이 나타납니다.
아이들에게 색에 대해 강렬한 인상을 주어 확실하게 색 감각을 알게 해 줄 수 있는 책입니다.

This book will suggest unexpected, unusual and fun color associations for the imaginations of its young readers. The mechanics are simple. Each sturdy page is made of double sheets with a large pull sheet in between. The background color of each of the eight double-spreads is primary, bright, shiny and substantial, with simple cutout shapes filled with the same background color. The effect is total red, total white and so forth. At the bottom of each page there is a nice big pull-tab with an arrow pointing down; when it is pulled, the many cutout shapes on each right-hand page reveal pictures of objects in the color of the page. There are red ants, green peas in a pod, white objects in a white refrigerator and a cat with a black shadow. On the left side, the tab pulls down the name of the color on the page. Most of the pages include several lift-the-flaps, and some of the pull-down openings reveal pictures under pictures as they slide into view. This cleverly designed book with movable parts consists of wordless double-page spreads in startlingly bright hues. Readers pull down a tab with an arrow on the left-hand page to reveal the name of the color in large, black letters. When the tab on the right side is moved, a series of appropriately colored objects slide into windows of different shapes. Each item is labeled in small black print and more examples are hidden behind tabs that can be lifted up. Most of these pictures, done in pen and watercolor, will be easy for young audiences to identify, but some are a bit more of a challenge. For example, the "blue" objects include a cloud-filled sky, a pair of blue jeans, a blue whale, a swimming pool, and a ring with a sapphire stone. Some of the choices used to illustrate "pink" (such as a shrimp, a starfish, and a crab shell) may be too much of a stretch for some readers.  정말 맘에 드는 색깔책입니다.!! |
아이가 4살이라 색깔책이 어느새 참 많아 졌네요.
대부분 간단하게 같은 물건만 평면적으로 나열해 놓은게 대부분이고,
또 이렇게 플랩북 같이 고가인 경우는 대부분 몇색깔 안 나오는 대 이책은 새깔도 정말 많..

아이들에게 자연스레 색깔 형용사와 명사을 붙여서 말하는 법을 자연스레 가르쳐 줄 수 있답니다.

what color do you see?
I see yellow.

I see yellow bannas, yellow lemon, etc.
또 정말 가격 싸네요. 부럽다.
제가 박람회에서 아이가 색깔 인지가 끝난후에 이책을 또 살만큼,
그만큼 욕심이 났가 때문이예요.
정말 괜찮은 책 입니다. 강추!!

색깔인지책이 물론 여기저기서 많이 나오지만,사실 전 이책만큼좋은 책이 없다고 생각됩니다.

정말 보기만 해도 그 색깔이 머리속으로 마음으로 들어오는 책입니다.

 선명한 색이 너무 좋아요 |
책 표지를 보면 알 수 있듯이 나타낸 색감이 너무 뛰어나요.
유아들에게 정확히 알려줄 수 있죠.
완전한 red, yellow, 를 보여주는 것 같아요.
게다기 페이지를 넘길때마다 그림을 연상하고 펼치지만 온통 한..

유아들에게 정확히 알려줄 수 있죠.

게다기 페이지를 넘길때마다 그림을 연상하고 펼치지만 온통 한가지 색만 나오는 것도 여느 칼라북이랑 조금을 틀려서 아이가 흥미를 가지네요.
다만 너무 늦게(우리아이 6세) 구입한 관계로 아이는 그리 썩 재미있어하지 않는구요.
이미 많은 색깔 관련 책을 보아왔으니...
그래도 제가 구입한 것은 아주 저렴한 가격에 구입할 기회때문이었답니다.
하지만 책을 펼칠 때만다 그 선명한 색깔에 기분이 좋아집니다.
그리고 다른 색깔의 책보다는 색과 관련되 단어도 조금은 많아요.
단지 여러개를 한 페이지에 넣다보니 그림이 좀 작아서 아쉽더군요.
이쁜 것을 좋아하는 아이들에겐 너무 좋을 것 같아아ㅛ.
