"SIREN"을 눌러도, "VOICE"를 눌러도 여전히 소방차 대신에 반려견이 작동을 하네요. "TURN"을 눌렀을 때, 벤과 벨라, 그리고 반려견은 모두 몸이 공중에 거꾸로 둥둥 떠 있게 되었어요. 그라고 리모콘을 떨어트리는 바람에 손에 닿지를 않네요. 이 책을 읽는 독자님이 주인공을 대신해서 리모콘의 버튼을 눌러서 벤과 벨라와 반려견을 구해주세요...

모두 10개의 버튼을 누를 때마다 웃기는 상황들이 벌어지기 때문에 어린 독자들은 재미있게 몰입해서 책을 즐길 수 있습니다.

What is 하드커버? 양장본이라고도 불리우며, 표지가 단단한 판지로 만들어진 책입니다. 판지를 천이나 가죽으로 감싸기도 합니다. 책의 속지는 일반적으로 중성처리된 종이(Acid-free paper)를 사용해서 잘 변질이 되지 않기 때문에 오랫동안 보관하기에 적합합니다. 이 종류의 책은 더스트 재킷, 또는 더스트 커버로 불리는 표지덮개가 함께 있는 경우가 많습니다. 간혹 내부 속지가 콩기름 코팅이 된 경우 고약한 냄새가 나는 책도 있습니다.

In this follow-up to This book just ate my dog! and We’re in the wrong book!, Bella and Ben and that adorable dog are back for another (mis)adventure.
Ben has a new remote-controlled toy; it has all kinds of buttons--Up, Down, Siren, Spin. He and Bella try pressing each one, but the remote doesn't seem to be working . . . at least, not on the toy. As things go haywire on the page, Bella and Ben realize their book is out of control! With a remote on the fritz, it'll take the help of the reader to put things right in this interactive story.

Bella, her dog, and her friend Ben are back in another interactive picture book. Ben wants to show Bella his new remote-control fire truck. When he presses the various buttons, the fire truck does nothing. However, Bella's dog is flung, spins, and even speaks. Working together with the help of readers, Ben, Bella, and the pooch are able to set things right. The final page is a letter to readers testing whether they paid attention to the havoc the remote caused. As he did with This Book Just Ate My Dog! and We're in the Wrong Book!, Byrne breaks the fourth wall and engages children with giggles and prompts. He continues his habit of using the book's gutter, this time as the wall separating the inside of Bella's home from the outside. The artwork beautifully downplays the background, allowing the hilarious chaos to be front and center. VERDICT An excellent addition to interactive or book-themed storytimes.
