Harry the Dirty Dog의 주인공 점박이 강아지 해리가 다시 돌아왔어요.
해리는 할머니에게 생일 선물로 장미가 그려진 녹색 울 스웨터를 선물받았어요. 그런데 해리는 보는 순간 마음에 들지 않았어요. 장미를 별로 좋아하지 않거든요. 다음날 가족들과 함께 외출한 해리는 사람들이 자신을 보고 웃고, 강아지들은 짖자 할머니의 선물인 스웨터를 잃어버려야 겠다고 결심했어요. 큰 상점에 들어가 아이들이 스웨터를 벗겨주자 그냥 두고 나와버린 해리.. 하지만 한 남자가 다시 가져다 주었어요. 이번에는 식료품점에 두고 오려했지만 아주머니가 다시 가져다 주시네요. 해리가 자꾸 스웨터를 두고 나오자 화가 난 아이들은 절대 벗겨주지 않았어요. 해리도 포기했답니다. 홀로 바깥에 앉아있던 해리의 스웨터 끝을 새가 물고 날아올라가기 시작했어요. 한올 한올 모두 풀린 스웨터를 새가 물고 날아가 버렸어요. 집에 오니 할머니에게 편지 한통이 와 있었어요. 아이들은 스웨터를 찾느라 분주했지만 없었답니다. 이유는 해리만 알겠죠? 할머니와 함께 공원으로 간 해리와 아이들은 해리의 스웨터 색깔과 장미 모양까지 똑같은 새 둥지를 발견했어요~
