오늘은 학교에서 사진을 찍는 날입니다. 모두들 엘범에 최고의 모습을 남기기 위해 노력하지만 내 계획은 다릅니다. 나는 학교에서 최악의 사진을 찍고 싶었지요. 자고 일어난 상태 그대로의 부스스한 머리, 쭈글쭈글 주름지고 때가 낀 우중충한 회색 셔츠, 무엇보다도 기분 나쁘게 째려보는 표정... 내 계획은 완벽했습니다.

그런데 내 계획은 처음부터 조금 어긋나 버렸어요. 배경색깔이 회색이어서 내 옷 색깔과 비슷한 바람에 내 셔츠는 더러운지 깨끗한지 표가 나지 않았죠. 무엇보다고 내 차례가 되어서 사진을 찍기 직전에 내가 꾸몄던 "최악의 사진 찍기 프로젝트"가 얼마나 완벽했는지 생각하다가 나도 모르게 웃어버리는 바람에 그 웃는 얼굴이 찍혀버렸어요. 엄마는 내 사진을 보고는 내가 지금까지 찍은 사진 둥에서 최고라고 말씀하시네요...
