고양이와 강아지는 잠도 꼭 붙어서 자는 친구입니다. 하지만 둘의 성격이나 취향, 그리고 생활방식은 정반대입니다. 매사에 긍정적이고 낙천적인 강아지는 주인이 하는 말에 대부분 "Yes"라고 대답합니다만, 고양이는 성격이 너무 쿨해서 약간은 부정적이다보니 주인이 하는 말에 대부분 "No"라고 대답합니다.

아침에 일어나는 시간도 다르고, 좋아하는 놀이도 다르고, 좋아하는 장소도 다르다보니, 둘은 함께 하기 보다는 따로따로 떨어져서 지냅니다만, 날아가는 나비를 잡기 위해 둘은 모처럼 함께 힘을 합쳐 날아가는 나비를 쫓아갑니다.

날이 저물어서 둘은 집으로 돌아옵니다만, 더 놀고 싶은 강아지는 이제 주인이 목욕하고 잠자리에 들어가라는 말에 처음으로 "No"라고 대답하네요. 오늘 두 친구의 하루는 "Yes"이기도 하고, "No"이기도 하네요.
