This book is a treasure chest of special effects. There are large dinosaurs that pop up in the center of pages; pull-tabs that cause unexpected results; push-pull tabs that move dinosaurs across pages and up and down; textured and glittering papers that fill cut-out spaces on the pages; and an absolutely delightful purple baby dinosaur that can be pulled up from its egg. Special effects alone; however, are not the only strength of this book.
