Twilight is that time when the sky reflects the last soft rays of the sun and the surrounded woods and land becomes darker and indistinct. It is Grandfather Twilight who takes a pearl from his treasure chest and as it grows in size, he releases it in the sky where it becomes the moon. His job done, Grandfather Twilight retires for the night, just like little ones should. The allegory may be well beyond the comprehension of the intended listeners, but the soft illustrations and calm, short text will make a soothing read. |
