[ 책 소개 ]
P.J. Funnybunny는 자신이 토끼인 것이 너무나도 싫었습니다. 매일 먹은 당근요리도 질렸고, 집 안에 수많은 형제 자매들이 복작대는 것도 싫었으며, 기다란 귀도 싫었습니다. 퍼니바니는 다른 동물이 되어서 새로운 삶을 살아보고 싶어서 가출을 했습니다.

세번째 만나서 함께 살게 된 동물은 비버. 그런데 비버는 개울을 가로 막는 댐을 만든다고 하루 종일 쉬지 않고 일만 하네요.
네번쩨 만나서 함께 살게 된 동물은 주머니쥐. 그런데 나무가지에 꼬리를 감고 거꾸로 매달려자는 주머니쥐를 따라 하려다가 두통이 와버렸지요.
여러 동물들과 함께 살아본 퍼니버니는 가장 편안하고 행복한 곳은 자신의 집이라는 것을 깨닫게 됩니다. 집으로 돌아 온 퍼니버니는 당근 요리도 너무 맛있고, 형제 자매들과 복작거리며 노는 것도 너무 재미있으며, 자신을 토끼답게 보이게 하는 기다란 귀에도 자부심을 갖게 되었습니다.
