Children's Literature
The original version from Jane Hissey's Old Bear and Friends has been adapted to fit a board book. Little Bear wakes up one morning to find that his trousers are missing. As he visits with the other stuffed animals (he is a fuzzy brown teddy bear), each recounts how he used the trousers and then passed them along. The inset illustrations below the text show how the trousers were used. The pictures are amusing and the story has a delicious surprise at the end. A treat for a new generation of young kids.
