신더 왕자는 못생기고 삐쩍 마르고, 키도 작으며, 얼굴에는 점투성이여서 볼품이 없습니다만, 세명의 형은 키도 크고 잘생겼지요. 형들이 디스코 클럽에 가서 신나게 놀고 있을 때 신더왕자는 형들이 어지러 놓은 방을 정리하고 빨래를 하는 등 뒷치닥거리를 해야 했지요. 항상 형들과 같이 덩치도 크고, 털도 많았으면 좋겠다고 생각하고 있는데, 어느날 요정이 나타나서 신더 왕자의 소원을 들어주겠다고 합니다. 하지만 어리숙한 요정은 실수를 해서 신더 왕자를 덩치가 크고 털이 많고 고릴라로 바꿔 놓았습니다. 마법에 걸린 신더왕자는 자기 자신이 핸섬한 남자로 바뀐 줄로 착각하고는 디스코클럽에 갔지만, 덩치가 너무 커서 문에 걸려버리고 맙니다. 낙담해서 집으로 돌아가기 위해 버스 정류장으로 간 신더왕자는 그곳에서 역시 버스를 기다리던 아름다운 공주를 만나게 되고... 공주가 괴물같은 신더왕자를 보고 기겁을 할려는 순간, 12시가 되어 마법이 풀려서 신더왕자는 본래이 모습으로 돌아옵니다. 공주는 신더왕자가 괴물을 물리친 것으로 잘못 알고...

In the case of Cole's Prince Cinders, an outrageously funny romp of a picture book. Prince Cinders is a spotty, skinny fellow who envies his brothers' brawn and hairiness.
