Young listeners will have a wonderful time joining in with the repeated refrain of "bouncy bouncy ball." This book has all the necessary elements to encourage literacy in young children--attractive pictures, action-packed story line, and repetitive language. Even though it may not last significantly longer than most novelty books (despite the cover's promise of "toddler-proof pages"), this one should be in every home and preschool classroom.
