이 책은 누구보다 예술을 사랑하고 예술을 더 많은 사람들과 나누고 싶어 했던 팝 아티스트, 키스 해링의 삶을 다룬 그림책입니다. 키스 해링은 하위문화로 낙인찍힌 낙서화의 형식을 빌려 새로운 회화 양식을 창조한 미국의 팝아티스트입니다. 키스 해링의 여동생인 케이 해링이 글을 쓰고, 다수의 베스트셀러 그림책을 만든 저명한 일러스트레이터인 로버트 뉴베커가 그림을 그렸습니다. 국내에서는 "키스 해링, 낙서를 사랑한 아이"라는 제목으로 번역서가 출간되었습니다.
