이 책은 빵으로 만든 샌드위치, 계란으로 만든 아침식사, 상추로 만든 샐러드, 레몬으로 만든 레몬쥬스, 감자로 만든 프랜치프라이 등 모두 5종류의 퍼즐조각이 앞 표지의 서랍 속에 들어 있습니다. 왼쪽 페이지에는 각각의 음식들의 재료가 무엇인지를 보여주며, 오른 쪽 페이지에는 왼쪽 페이지에 그려진 재료로 만든 음식의 모양을 한 퍼즐의 조각을 맞출 수 있는 홈이 파여져 있습니다.

Find the food piece that matches each shape in the book. In this entry to the "Fit-a-Shape" series, young children get a book and five puzzle pieces. Each piece is shaped and designed to match the empty space in the page. The text takes a food item and relates it to something greater than the item. For example, bread is used to make sandwiches and lettuce is used to make a salad. Although the book is sturdy, the puzzle pieces could get lost even though they fit on a page that slides into the cover. Each page is bordered by four of the food items (lemonade, egg, bread and lettuce leaf) in different colors which lends itself to another learning opportunity. Other books in the series include animals, bugs, clothing, colors, dinosaurs, numbers, opposites, shapes and trucks. 2001 Quarto Children's Books, $6.95. Ages 1 to 4. Reviewer: Marilyn Courtot
